Coverage decisions deserve clarity — not pressure.
Insurance is rarely the easiest thing to think about, and it is often where people feel most uncertain. My practice exists to make that process calmer and clearer.
As an independent advisor, I take the time to understand your situation, explain your options in plain language, and let you decide at your own pace. No scripts, no pressure, and no obligation — only considered guidance.
More About My Practice →A standard I hold to every conversation
An unhurried conversation — never a sales script, and never a deadline that isn’t genuinely yours.
Plain-language explanations, so every option is something you actually understand.
Encouragement to verify my license and credentials independently — always.
Guidance for people at every stage
Most clients come to me at a moment of change — a new job or the loss of one, a growing family, a move, a business taking shape, or simply the realization that their current coverage no longer fits.
Wherever you are, the conversation begins the same way: with your situation, not a sales script.
A considered review of the coverage that matters
Whatever your circumstances, the goal is the same — clarity about the options available to you.
Individual Health
Coverage built around one person’s needs, budget, and eligibility.
Family Coverage
Coordinated options for households with more than one person to consider.
Self-Employed & 1099
For independent professionals, contractors, realtors, and consultants.
Small Business & Group
Group and related options for owners considering coverage for a team.
Life Insurance
Protection considered around the people who depend on you.
Supplemental Coverage
Additional layers of protection alongside a primary policy.
Not tied to any single insurance company
Because Onwelle Health Solutions is independent, my work is not about promoting one carrier’s products. I review options across a range of established, licensed insurance carriers and help you weigh them against what matters most to you — your doctors, your budget, your circumstances. Plan and carrier availability varies by state, eligibility, and underwriting guidelines.
A practice built to be verified, not simply trusted
A licensed, named advisor
This practice has a real name behind it. Onwelle Health Solutions is operated by Emma Kilcoyne, a state-licensed insurance producer whose license number and NPN are published openly — and yours to verify at any time.
A transparent process
Your policy and documents come directly from the insurance carrier. Premiums are paid to the carrier — never to me, and never to this office personally.
Your decision, always
I present options and answer every question thoroughly. Whether and when you choose to enroll is entirely yours to decide.
Let’s review your options, together.

Emma Kilcoyne
Independent Licensed Health & Life Insurance Advisor
I’m Emma Kilcoyne, an independent, licensed health and life insurance advisor based in the Tampa Bay / St. Petersburg area, and the founder of Onwelle Health Solutions.
I built this practice around a simple conviction: coverage decisions should be made calmly, clearly, and entirely on the client’s terms. Too often, people navigate insurance with more confusion than confidence — pushed toward a product before anyone has taken the time to understand their situation. My work is the opposite of that.
As an independent advisor, I’m not employed by any single insurance company. That independence keeps our conversation focused on your circumstances — your household, your budget, your priorities, and the carriers available where you live — rather than on selling one company’s plan.
Why I’d rather you check than wonder
If you’re reading this because you received a call, a text, or a referral and want to know who is on the other end — thank you for taking the time to look. You should. Insurance is personal, and you deserve to know exactly who you are speaking with.
Everything I do rests on a simple standard: I would only ever recommend coverage I would feel comfortable placing for my own family. I’ll explain your options in plain language, answer every question honestly, and give you the room to decide without pressure.
And I will always encourage you to verify my license and credentials independently — because an advisor worth trusting has nothing to hide. Whenever you’re ready, I’d be glad to help you think it through.
An approach grounded in guidance and education
I assist clients across every stage of life and business — from a first individual plan, to family coverage, to self-employed and small business options. Whatever the situation, my aim is the same: that you understand your choices well enough to feel genuinely confident in the one you make.
Guidance, not pressure
Every conversation is unhurried. You will never be pushed toward a decision, a product, or a deadline that isn’t yours.
Education first
I focus on helping you understand how plans, networks, and costs actually work — so your decision is a well-informed one.
An independent perspective
Because I review a range of carriers rather than represent only one, the conversation is shaped by your needs.
Verifiable, and openly published
Every detail below is published so you can confirm it independently — through your state’s Department of Insurance and the national producer database.
Licensed in 36 states
I am based in the Tampa Bay / St. Petersburg area and assist clients across every state in which I hold an active health and life insurance license. The full list is published below.
All licenses are issued and maintained per state. To verify state-by-state, look up my National Producer Number (21153239) on the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR). If you do not see your state listed, please reach out — I’ll give you an honest answer about whether I can assist.
Have a question, or ready to review your options?
A private coverage review is a calm, no-obligation conversation about your situation and the choices available to you.
Considered guidance across the coverage that matters
These are the areas in which I assist clients. Each begins the same way — with an unhurried conversation about your needs and a clear, honest review of the options available to you.
Individual Health Insurance
Coverage built around one person’s health needs, budget, and eligibility. I review the plans available in your area and help you understand how networks, deductibles, and monthly costs compare.
Family Coverage
Coordinating coverage for a household introduces more variables — different ages, doctors, and needs under one plan. I help you compare options that account for everyone you are responsible for.
Self-Employed & 1099 Coverage
Independent professionals, contractors, realtors, and consultants have no employer plan to rely on. I help you explore individual-market and private options suited to self-employment and variable income.
Small Business & Group Coverage
For owners considering coverage for a team, I review group and related options and explain how eligibility, participation, and contributions typically work.
Life Insurance
Life insurance is, at its heart, about the people who depend on you. I help you think through coverage types and amounts, and review options appropriate to your stage of life.
Supplemental Coverage
Supplemental plans can add a layer of protection alongside a primary policy — for example, accident or other specified coverage. I help you consider whether they suit your needs.
Depending on your circumstances, a review may also include private PPO options and guidance on the ACA marketplace where appropriate. Options vary based on state, eligibility, household needs, carrier availability, and underwriting guidelines — and the availability of any specific plan or carrier cannot be guaranteed.
How a coverage review works
A conversation
We begin with an unhurried discussion of your situation, your household or business, and what matters most to you.
A review of options
I review the coverage available to you and explain how plans, networks, and costs compare — in plain language.

If you choose to proceed, your application is submitted through the carrier’s official system. The decision — and the timing — remains entirely yours.
Review the options available to you
Schedule a private coverage review and we will walk through your situation together, at your pace.
Please verify me. You should.
Caution is the right instinct — especially with insurance, and especially if you were first contacted by phone, text, or referral. This page exists to make checking me out simple: how to confirm my license independently, how to recognize a scam, and clear answers to the questions clients ask most.
Three ways to confirm everything on this site
I would rather you check than wonder. Each step below can be completed for free, on your own, without my involvement.
Confirm the license
Every state’s insurance regulator offers a free public license lookup — in Florida, the Department of Financial Services. Search using the license number published on this site.
Verify the NPN
The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) maintains the national producer database. You can confirm my National Producer Number there, independently and at no cost.
Contact carriers directly
Once you enroll, the insurance carrier can confirm your policy using the contact details on its official website or your member ID card — no advisor required.
How to recognize an insurance scam
Insurance fraud is real, and a careful client is a protected one. These are the warning signs worth knowing — whether you are speaking with me or with anyone else.
- ◆
Premiums are paid to the insurance carrier — never to an advisor personally, and never by gift card, wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or a payment app.
- ◆
A licensed advisor will readily give you a license number and NPN, and will encourage you to verify them. Pressure, secrecy, or vague answers are warning signs.
- ◆
After you enroll, official documents and ID cards come from the carrier — and you can always confirm a policy directly with the carrier.
- ◆
Be cautious of manufactured urgency — “today only,” “limited spots,” or claims that your coverage will lapse unless you act immediately.
- ◆
Never share your Social Security number or banking details by ordinary text or email. Sensitive information belongs only in a carrier’s secure system.
If anything about an interaction feels off — including with this practice — pause and verify before going further. You will never offend a legitimate advisor by doing so.
Clear answers, openly given
It’s a fair question — and you should ask it of anyone who handles your insurance. Onwelle Health Solutions is the licensed advisory practice of Emma Kilcoyne, a state-licensed insurance producer. My license number and National Producer Number (NPN) are published openly on this site and in the footer of every page.
You can confirm both, for free, through your state’s Department of Insurance and the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR). I genuinely encourage you to. A legitimate advisor will always welcome verification — never discourage it.
Yes. I hold active health and life insurance licenses and am appointed with the carriers I represent.
State insurance licenses are issued per state — I currently maintain active licenses in 36 states (the full list is on the About page), and my National Producer Number is 21153239. You can verify every one of my state licenses, free of charge, by looking up that NPN on the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR). If your state isn’t listed, please tell me — I’ll give you an honest answer about whether I can assist.
Yes. When you enroll, your policy documents, member identification cards, and official correspondence come directly from the insurance carrier — not from me.
I help you read and understand them, but the carrier is the issuer of your coverage and the official source of record. If you ever enroll in something and receive nothing from the carrier, treat that as a warning sign.
Always — and you should. Once you’re enrolled, call the carrier using the number on its official website or your member ID card to confirm your policy details, effective date, and premium.
Your coverage is a direct agreement between you and the carrier. You never need me present to verify it.
No. Insurance premiums are always paid directly to the insurance carrier — never to me, and never to this office.
I will never request payment through gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, payment apps, or any other unofficial method. If anyone ever asks you to pay for insurance that way — whether or not they claim to be from this practice — stop, and treat it as a scam.
No. An initial coverage review is provided at no cost and with no obligation. As an independent advisor, I am typically compensated by the insurance carrier if and when a policy is placed — which does not increase your premium.
If any cost could ever apply to your particular situation, I will tell you clearly and in advance.
To start, very little: who needs coverage, your zip code or state, an approximate household income range (used only to check eligibility), and what matters most to you — preferred doctors, prescriptions, or budget.
I only ask for sensitive details, such as a Social Security number, when they are genuinely required to submit an application — and only through secure, carrier-approved systems. You should never send that information by ordinary text or email.
It is a clear, step-by-step process. We start with a no-obligation conversation about your situation. I review the options available in your area and explain how they compare.
If — and only if — you decide to move forward, your application is submitted through the carrier’s official enrollment system, and you confirm it yourself. Nothing is ever submitted without your knowledge.
Your information is kept confidential and used only to research coverage and, if you choose, to apply for it. It is shared solely with the relevant insurance carriers through their secure systems.
It is never sold, and it is never used for anything you have not asked me to do.
